Bodleian Library courtyard Photo: Tom Cram This is the official blog of the 2021 Shakespeare in Oxford education abroad experience. I'm Roze Hentschell , the faculty leader for our group of eight students, who will be the main authors on this blog. The students will be taking an experiential Shakespeare class with me, in which we will study several of Shakespeare's plays and have the opportunity to see them live at the Globe Theatre in London. We will also take field trips to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare's Birthplace , Bath, to see the Roman Baths , as well as several field trips in our home base of Oxford. In partnership with the Oxford Study Abroad Programme , the students will also take an independent study course with an Oxford University affiliated professor in their chosen area of study. The two courses will run over 5 weeks, from June 7th until July 12th.
